Horse Racing Tips – Tuesday 29th March

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Scone meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 8

Rail Position: True entire

What a tough race.  The form around the raced ones is average so I am on the Ron Quinton-trained STYLISH PEDRILLE. All these Pedrille horses seem to be able to run and this filly was strong on a wet track when chasing a tearaway leader in a trial recently. That leader raced a week later and was 2nd at the provincials so the form looks to hold up. Not quite sure where she will be in the run but she showed good speed at the trials so may push forward on this wet track and be in 3rd or 4th to the bend. They should string out so I can’t see her being trapped wide. Quinella her with SHRINE ho resumes here and trialled nicely.

There is a very real chance I believe that the jocks here will allow ARABOLINI to waltz his way to the lead, drop anchor, bowl along in front unchallenged and then kick off the bend. He is 3rd up into this, loves it wet too, and although he led and wilted late over 1800m last start, it was a stronger race and he was probably 3 lengths weaker that day. It toughened him up for today’s assignment. I think he can lead all the ay from PICARO who should get back and run on.

This mare MOSHT UP has raced 66 times and just keeps finding the desire. She is well placed in this grade and even better in now with a 2kg claim to help her along for Madi Derrick who knows her well. Has been up a long, long time but keeps maintaining her form and loves it wet. Drawn perfectly as well.
