Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Newcastle meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!
Track: Good 4
I just think, after studying the racing patters of all the runners in this race, including the unraced ones (trial runs only to go on) that INEQUALITY looks across the line. He is only a 2YO, but he has pace and class and from this marble should sit up on the outside of the lead before just exploding away. Would not surprise me to see him obliterate these. For the quinella players, I’ll throw in the well-weighted SABIETTE. But I just think you should get on. Quinella them.
This is a fascinating contest. I suspect if the real BARANOF turns up he spread-eagles these. However, you can’t bet with confidence re him because he doesn’t always want to turn up. He ran 2nd in a $2million race on debut and has placed 4 times since from 13 starts. Was 7th at Hawkesbury in a maiden last start for example. For these reasons I’m on PODIUM. He is honest nd tries every start. Resumes here and comes back in class a bit ass all his races have been in city maidens. Looks beautifully placed and I see him skipping away down the running. Quinella them.
Tough race with a few hopes but I sense there is a vibe of brilliance around this Scone horse OUTBURST. He just may develop into a top class stayer and this is his stepping stone. First look at this trip but won in much easier grade over a mile last start. That was 2nd run from a spell so strips a lot fitter here. Can carry weight too. WHITE BOOTS may be down a bit in grade so he can plug on into 2nd spot.
