Loves the mud. Is a Gr 1 winner. Is in form and is the best horse in the race. Looks, bullet-proof because she is so tough, the one to beat.
T: David Vandyke/ J: Willy Pike (56kg)
Brilliant form of late. Had won five on the bounce before an unlucky run during the race and a truly game 3rd last start at Gr 1 level in lead-up race. If she gets through the mud she can win.
T: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace/ J: Mark Zahra (56kg)
Didn’t do much when resuming and 2nd up into an Oaks isn’t idea. Will struggle late.
4. HONEYCREEPER (15) 143×332131
T: James Cummings / J: Hugh Bowman (56kg)
Roared back into contention with an effortless win last start in major 2000m lead-up race. Is fit, can handle mud and can stay. Big danger.
T: Kris Lees / J: Damien Oliver (56kg)
Lightly raced, solid stayer from NZ on debut here. Ran 6th in NZ Oaks at her latest start so can stay. Place.
T: Danny O’Brien / J: Damian Lane (56kg)
Interesting galloper. Can stay and was stakes placed over 2000m in the Spring. Three starts this time up have been handy, although did weaken out of it at the Valley over 2040m. Not really keen.
T: Kerry Parker / J: Nash Rawiller (56kg)
Has talent because she is very it, can handle heavy and likes to run on. Close 6th in Gr 1 Surround behind Hinged. Place.
T: John Sargent / J: Robbie Dolan (56kg)
Very handy but looks a length or so behind the better ones. Was good 3rd in Kembla Classic and has placed on a heavy.
T: John Sargent/ J: James McDonald (56kg)
Good honest tough filly who gives every impression she can stay all day. Is trained here and game 5th last start in similar grade. Jay Mac rides and has to be considered.
T: Gary Portelli/ J: Alysha Collett (56kg)
Good filly who might be a knock out hope here at huge odds. Did run home strongly, but beaten 3 lengths by Honeycreeper last start in Gr 3 lead-up race over 2000m. Can stay and likes it wet.
T: Team Snowden /J: Sam Clipperton (57kg)

T: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace/ J: John Allen (56kg)
Handy Melbourne filly but doubts exist about her running this trip out.
T: Pat Carey/ J: Freed Kersley (56kg)
Won Maiden over 2200m on wet track but this step up in grade is too much.
T: John Ramsey/ J: Grant Buckley (56kg)
Won bush maiden over 2100m then the rain fell, track got wet and she bolted her BM 58 race in over 2200m. Might just be a strong stayer in the making. Place.
T: Kris Lees / J: Craig Williams (56kg)
Has handy bush form but was beaten a long way in the mud last start behind Honeycreeper. Not keen.
