Horse Racing Tips – Warwick Farm – Wed 26th Jan

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races. Good luck, punters!

Rail: True entire

Track: Soft 5

Warwick Farm R1  Mdn Plate 1100m

13:40 (AEST)

This looks like a competitive, high-class maiden field. MARS MISSION resumes here but has been superb in recent trials. Only start to date was a 3rd at this level in Victoria and looks stronger this time around.

MY ELOISE is unraced but showing promise. Trialled well.

TAPIS MAGIQUE has taken her sweet time to find form but showed with a strong finishing burst to grab 2nd at Gosford that she is there now. Will run on hard.

Tip: MARS MISSION @ $1.90

Warwick Farm R2 – Mdn Plate (3YO+) 1400m

14:15 (AEST)

BALZANDO is prettifying quick as was shown on debut in Melbourne when he led for home and a fading 4th over 1400m at this level. Spelled after that and has since trialled twice impressively. Should run well.

ATON OF DELIGHT was beaten out of a place on debut then spelled. Since trialled nicely and Hughie booked first-up.

RUSSIAN RUBLE is very close to a win. Sat back well off the pace before unleashing and finishing hard for 2nd this grade here last start. Fitter now and big hope.

Warwick Farm R3 – BM64 (3YO) 1600m

14:50 (AEST)

MIHOCEK was ridden upside down when taken to the front last start and battled on well for 5th. Gets a 2kg allowance here which suits and will be competitive. He’s fit and won a similar race two starts back.

TUHINGA is straight from maiden grade after a strong win last start. Big weight but has talent.

BON VIVANT looked good winning then a tad unlucky when a hard finishing 2nd to Mihocek last run. Meets him .5kg worse off but the extra 50m will suit.

Tip: BON VIVANT  @ $2.60

Warwick Farm R4 – BM72 (3YO +) Hcp 1000m

15:25 (AEST)

So strange now that it’s a small field. SIXGUN is the ‘gun’ runner in the field and his first-up 3rd was a cracking effort. If he’s taken benefit from that, and he should have, he powers home late here.

STAR CHERIE is pretty solid and very genuine. Looks nicely placed here after a very fine 5th in a much stronger race when resuming. Is a lot fitter now.

FIRE is lightly raced and resuming but showed talent last campaign. Has lots of pace. Can place here.

Tip: STAR CHERIE @ $4.40

Warwick Farm R5 – BM72 (3YO+F&M) Hcp 1400m

16:00 (AEST)

IN LIGHTEN ME is probably not the genuine article but on her day she is a winning chance. Produced a screamer at Kensington 3 runs back in this grade when beaten a head. Since failed in stronger races but expect her to run on today.

This bush mare, MOLLY NAILS has a wicked finishing kick. Produced it when resuming at Moruya last start and may do it again here although is up in grade. Still, her record is impressive and she is honest.

The track today is a little damp and that may suit CRACKALACKA who since transferring to Theresa Bateup has grown a leg winning past 3 starts on wet tracks. This is a major rise in grade but a mare in form…

Tip: IN LIGHTEN ME @ $9.00

Warwick Farm R6 – BM72 (C&G) 1400m

16:40 (AEST)

Must be so refreshing having a horse like OFF SHAW. He can stay and yet when resuming in a BM 72 here he was on speed over 1200m and fought on well for a game 3rd. Will take a great deal from that hit-out. Gets a 2kg claim today.  Rates highly.

You have to love a horse who is on his home track and SILENT AGENDA is that horse here. Ran past Off Shaw in that 1200m race last start when resuming to get 2nd. Also can stay and he should love this trip. Watch betting.

You couldn’t have missed the run of ZELL when a much improved 3rd last start in this company. Big danger.

Tip: SILENT AGENDA @ $9.00

Warwick Farm R7 – Listed $150k Australia Day Cup 2400m

17:20 (AEST)

The timing of the preparation for ATTORNEY has been outstanding and his 3rd in this grade over 2000m when grinding away in the January Cup was a terrific trial for this. Big show.

PARRY SOUND is in great form and is very fit. Suited this trip and looks hard to hold out.

Old KAAPFEVER who seems to go around in every thing is on the quick back-up from his terrific 3rd in a BM 88 last Saturday. Is tough and although this harder, he does love this track.

Tip: ATTORNEY @ $8.40

Warwick Farm R8 – BM72 Hcp 1200m

18:00 (AEST)

This overseas horse DAJRAAN has trialled like a superstar in recent weeks. Looks to have lengths on these.

JAILBREAK will be tested with the big weight but he is so genuine and puts in every run. Bound to be boxing away for a place.

EMBELLER has raced twice this time up and both runs have been terrific efforts. Looks placed well here with light weight.

Tip: DAJRAAN @ $2.40
