Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews the race meeting this afternoon at Goulburn, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 selected races. Good luck, punters!
Interesting race here. The Chris Waller stable believe this 3YO RIVER SNITTY has more than a useful helping of talent. He trials as if he does but on debut in town, after being well supported, he failed to flatter. This is easier. He resumes here, Hughie takes the ride and his latest trial was very solid. I’m prepared to say he looks the one to beat here because that trial/work talent nearly always does show upon eventually. BOBBY IS KING has raced twice, both of them useful efforts for a race like this. They do appear the quinella play.
Tip: RIVER SNITTY @ $2.90
Here’s a fascinating race. I do think this bloke KOKORO is pretty talented and may even be a Derby horse in a couple of months. Kicks off his season here in a winnable race. Did win his maiden here rather easily in October. Does get back but also has finishing power. Two trials have been solid, latest with Hughie on board when 3rd. watch market because they may just come for him in this. EYES TO EYE was pretty handy in similar company last campaign. Quinella.
Tip: KOKORO @ $2.30
I am banking on a couple of things here. The fact that WILD CHAP likes it wet is a positive push for him. He can sit on pace and be there all the way in the mud. He is a bit of a stayer though, so this will prove too short. However, the wet makes it a slog home and only the tough ones can plough through mud. Soooo, conclusion I’m on him to run down the raging hot fav TURNING. Quinella.
Tip: WILD CHAP @ $6.50
