Horse Racing Tips – Rosehill | Sat 18th June

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Saturday’s Rosehill meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 6m

A good track to race on – finally! It is hard to go past the way OSIPENKO chimed in and just raced away to win on a Saturday at first start. Heavy track that day as opposed to today, but the authority was there to see.

This colt KIBOU may well be the real deal too, although, similarly, his runaway 3 lengths win while fresh last start was on a heavy track. But he looked very sharp winning  that day. Rates highly.

RAZETTA came hard late to win on debut too and her win, at the provincials, was against older horses. The horse she beat that day has since won a provincial maiden eased down by 3 lengths. Respect her.

Tip: OSIPENKO

PURE FUEGO is talented at this level. Is 2nd up after a cracking 3rd in this grade hitting the line hard. Fitter now and Hughie has the mount. Danger.

JUST STROLLING goes very well also and has won past two in the bush, the first easily at maiden grade then up to Cl 1 last start at Scone and won again in the mud. Sat on speed that day. Chance.

This filly MISS KIRRIBILLI looks hard to beat. She has wheels and is getting better as she gets experience. Has won two from three starts and at the weights here she should receive a tremendous run then come very hard at them.

Tip: MISS KIRRIBILLI

This looks a strong race, and a fascinating race. Have they finally weighted FRENCH BONNET out of this grade? Won at this level handsomely last start. Has the bad gate and a big weight here but is fast and is in form.

HARVEY’S WAY is hitting the line hard of late and looks ready to take this event by the scruff of the neck. Placed this level at past two runs and is fitter now.

The run of TYMPANIST last start when beaten 14 lengths in this grade was too poor to be true. Won like a star the run prior and on home track here I suspect he improves a lot.

Tip: HARVEY’S WAY

DHAKURI is 3rd up here and has loved this trip in the past. May well be profitable to look past his poor efforts this time up. Is fitter now, drier track suits and the trip favours him.

Hard to go past THE CATCH who has raced three times this time up and won them all – impressively. They were all in Qld and all in weaker grade but he’s had a change of stable and this is now his home track.

WILLUNGA RUFIO is very talented. Rising sharply in grade but is unbeaten in his only two starts and just shows so much heart. Big chance again.

Tip: 1. WILLUNGA RUFIO

ARAPAHO is very fit and suited to this grade. Will need the 3kg claim but he’s drawn the fence, has the star apprentice Dylan Gibbons on top and is in great form. Could destroy them.

KING OF CLUBS needed the run last start when resuming. looked a hope at the 300m but just compounded late. May lead this and if so could just keep going at nice odds.

TINNIE WINNIE is up in class but is so brave and honest. Has won both starts this time up and that is now 4 wins from past 5 starts. Has to be considered.

Tip: 1. ARAPAHO

The 3kg claim for Ellen Hennessy will help the toppie here in UNDENIABLE. Form last prep was outstanding for this event and is 2nd up here after an average run. Drier track helps.

RUPERTAAR is smart and racing with gusto. Stormed home to win similar race last start when resuming. Actually, that race, run in the wet, was stronger than this one. Goes up 5kg but looks up to it.

CURTIS ISLAND has been the standout horse of late winning past two easier races but winning them with authority. Well up to this and is very fit.

Tip: 1. RUPERTAAR

Tough little race too unpack. DR DRILL is honest and is 3rd up. Last start was 2nd at this level so that adds up to him being a big player.

SURF DANCER is a front-runner so will assume the early lead and is very fit. May well lead them all the ay.

YOUTH SPIRIT is on debut in Australia but comes here with strong English form including an 8th in the prestigious English Derby. Won recent trial. Watch betting.

Tip:  1. YOUTH SPIRIT

Will be interesting to see how SIBAAQ handles this weight rise following a most impressive win in the Wellington Cup last start. Does get a 3kg claim and is 3rd up so many things in his favour. looks smart enough to win this.

IRISH LEGEND resumes here with an inside draw and boasting form from last prep that would be very strong for this. Watch market.

MACH SCHNELL is talented and seems to be getting better with racing. Is up in class a bit here but won handsomely last start and is in well at the weights.

Tip: 1. SIBAAQ

Tough race to work out. Form lines from everywhere. Surely after two impressive runs in the mud, both times placing at this level in the wet, LADY OF LUXURY is considered a major player here. Faster track should suit a great deal.

ROBODIRA was a bit weak late last start this grade but did look a big show at the 200m. Presumably fitter now and can improve on that last start 6th with the help of a 2kg claim.

PER INAWAY is up in class but looks up to it after a stunning win when resuming last start. Fitter now. The 3kg claim is a massive help.

Tip: 1. PER INAWAY

EL BUENA looks the play. Is 3rd up into this after a pair of strong 2nd placings at this level. Hughie rides and has drawn perfectly.  Fitter now.

FRENCH MARINE is racing well in weaker races and gets in here after th claim with a winnable weight. Respect.

TITANIUM POWER is ready to run a blinder. Has been eating closer every run and if he gets cover can come home hard in this.

Tip:  1. EL BUENA
