Horse Racing Tips – Randwick | Sat 11th June

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN previews Saturday’s Randwick , with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 6

Rail Position: Out 3m entire

The set weights scale makes this interesting. TAGS is a more than handy bush horse who is city class on his day and under these conditions rates highly. Placed twice in strong country races before spell then resumed with a a strong finishing 3rd at H’bury in mud over 1300m. Respect.

ANGELICAL is progressive. Did win 3 on the bounce in the bush up to 1750m before spell. Resumed with eye-catching 4th in a BM 66 over 1280m last start at M’brook. Has claims.

BOOTSCOOTER is lightly race but has talent. Revels in the wet too. Has scored at past two runs, and although this is tougher, looks very progressive. Big show.

This looks a good race with many hopes. Saying that, the way VEGAS RAIDER won at Scone on debut suggests he might be right out of the top shelf. Just flew home and the field was handy. If he has improved from that, he wins this easily.

MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO is talented too. She is down from Queensland and last start she was stakes placed in the Gr 3 Ken Russell over 1200m in the mud. Must be in your numbers.

At the weights EMILIA ROMAGNA looks well in considering how strongly she came home to win a weaker race when resuming last start.

RAINBOW CONNECTION is very smart at this level but he just gets entered in races and keeps getting scratched. That’s happened 4 times over the past month. If he starts he can be in the finish with this 2kg claim.

Being 3rd up you’d have to suspect QUEEN BELLISSIMO will be on pace, probably lead actually, and scoot away when they turn. She goes good this grade and the Dylan Gibbons 3kg claim is a massive help.

AKIHIRO is a stayer resuming here. He has no weight and does boast a solid fresh record so at huge odds may fill a place.

This is a step up in class for CRUEL SUMMER but gee the way he chimed in late to easily win a BM 64 in town last start was very impressive. That followed a bush win of substance too. Is 3rd up now, so is super fit and knows what to do.

MOON READER seems to be a pretty progressive filly too. Was too strong at H’bury in a BM 64 when resuming then just blew everyone away with her power late to score with 54kh in a Midway last start over 1200m. Goes up 2kg for that win so must be considered. Big show.

Another up in class but ESSONNE deserves a shot here having won only two bush runs to date. After the claim gets in here extremely well at the weights.

At the weights this Godolphin runner FLEXIBLE looks very well in. She comes to hand quickly and is 2nd up here after a real eye-catching 6th in Brisbane last start. It was a good run made more so by the fact it was a BM 85 race inn the mud. Big danger is she has come on.

NIFFLER is from the Chris Waller yard and is yet another mare in super, honest form. Won last start and gets a claim here to help her win again.

Her stablemate FINEPOINT won very impressively last start in midweek grade prompting trainer Waller to declare she is a Group horse in the making. That’ll do me.

This might be a good race for Victorian visitor EASY SINGLE. He is pretty quick and tough as his form in Melbourne has shown. Did win at Flemington in stronger grade than this last start. Will have to work to cross these but just may be a length or do better than them so has to be considered.

HULK is always a threat in these events and now that he is 3rd up he looms as a large threat.

SIEGE is hard to look past. Hard to not include a boom mare who has raced 4 times for 3 wins and who has been heavily backed every run.

What a terrific race. Victorian JUNIPAL gets into this very well at the weights. He loves this trip and is extremely fit. Overlook last start failure ina. gr 3.This suits a lot more.

FENDER may have company on the front end, but if per chance he is allowed to lead on his own, he will skip away when they turn and will take a lot of catching. Is very fit and well up to these with this weight.

NIGHT OF P{OWER steps up in class … on paper. A few of these aren’t going great and he is so with this weight he should dash hard late.

MR MOSAIC is one of those horses who gets up on speed and stays there. He also is climbing through the rankings with his tenacity and consistency. He is just a professional athlete.

SURREAL STEP is smart when it is wet and is up to this class. Won brilliantly after unlucky the run prior. Big show.

MAMARAGAN hasn’t done much for years now and disappoints often. But on the limit here on home track he may just run a blinder.

FRANKIE PINOT runs here if he doesn’t make the Stradbroke field. And he will shake this as he is honest and talented.

Tough field to work out but TRUE DETECTIVE can show up as he is 3rd up and is good on wet ground. Excellent 2nd last start.

LACKEEN probably drifts back here while fresh but he may well have come back better this prep so should fly home.

Near impossible to work out. So, so many chances, the track will be a mess, probably racing wide helps, and very few form lines to compare. Arghhhh.

CAFE ROYAL is great at this BM level but is getting up in the weights. Is helped by Ellen’s 3kg claim and is very fit. Big show.

CROSS TALK is up in class after solid first up win but is classy and tough so should handle the rise. Is on home track here too.

JOJO WAS A MAN is 3rd up, very honest and gets in here with a. 2kg claim for Reece so must be strongly fancied.
