MT NISEKO sat out the back and just battled at The Valley on debut. Drawn to get the ideal run in transt and he can sneak into a minor placing again.

Tip: FOUJITA SAN

CHIEF ALTONY resumes from a spell. He is yet to miss a place in any of his three first-up tries. Will be better when he gets over bit further than this but may just be too smart for these.

ROCKRIBBED was dominant last 200m at Ballarat first-up from spell then he started odds on at The Valley but was poor. Drawn ideally and can bounce back.

FIERY RED resumes from a break. He won at Sale when fresh last time in work. Drawn to drive through and sit on the pace and he will take catching from the corner.

Tip: CHIEF ALTONY

BUDD FOX fought the race out tenaciously winning at Hillside last start. Comes into this third-up from spell and can make it two straight.

CONVICT SAM looks ready to win this time in work. He has been placed in last two starts and gets chance to return to winners stall from ideal barrier.

EATON is always consistent in this class. He has been placed in two of his last three starts and would not leave him out of exotics.

Tip: BUDD FOX

WORSFOLD is unbeaten when fresh winning both first-up tries. Comes off soft trial and this looks a winnable race. Happy to have something each way.

JESTA DREAMA finished too well to win at Pakenham two starts back then he chased home soundly when placed at Hillside last start. He will be in finish.

CAPINO relished the heavy to win maiden in a canter two starts back before battling on to hold placing last outing. Cannot leave him out of multiples.

Tip: WORSFOLD

SET THE SAILS got his maiden out of the way at Pakenham two starts back then went to Adelaide and was placed behind a smart one. Drawn ideally and can win this.

VASMEE was strong winning two starts back then he led them for a long way at Flemington last start. Drawn touch wide but if finds lead will take catching.

FLASH FOOD finished the race off strongly when just missed at Warrnambool first-up. Sure to be better from the run and can go one better.

Tip: SET THE SAILS

COMIC SET is a progressive gelding who has found a purple patch of form. Dominant at Kyneton two back then again soft winner at Ballarat. He can win in town.

SIR DAVY finished too well to win when odds on at Warrnambool last outing. Comes to town in winning form and a must for exotics.

DUNKERRY resumes from spell. Won maiden by a space two starts back then beaten less than a length in town before break. Drawn ideally and must respect fresh.

Tip: COMIC SET

LAYBUY has been racing in consistent form this time in. Won at Hillside three starts back then has followed up with a couple of sound placings. Looks nice each way value.

LOOK SHARPISH came from second half for an impressive win at The Valley last start. Drawn awkwardly but look for her to be making good late ground.

SHULTZY deserves his chance in town. Won last couple at Yarra Valley and from ideal barrier can measure up to this. Must include in chances.

Tip: LAYBUY

CORKSCREW raced up on the speed and drove clear for soft win at Pakenham first-up from spell. Sure to strip fitter for this and can make it two in a row.

FINANCE CHOICE has been racing in consistent form. Won his first couple on the country circuit this prep. Enormous effort when placed at Flemington last start and that form good for this.

TRAMONTANA showed good pace and led them up at Geelong last start only to be claimed on the line. If he gets his own way in front he will take catching again.

Tip: CORKSCREW

DANCELITTLESISTER looks ready to win this campaign. Comes into this off three solid placings and she will make her presence felt for a long way.

NAPLES made it two wins from her three starts this time in. Started favourite at Geelong last start and proved touch too strong. Drawn awkwardly but cannot leave her out.

MOREAN has shown ability in all three starts. Fought the race out tenaciously when placed at Hillside last start and she will take some catching from the corner.
