Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Sandown Hillside | Sat 11th June

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Sandown Hillside meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Heavy 9

Rail Position: Out 8m entire circuit

Peter Moody must always be respected when he produces a debutant and SHE DANCES fits the bill. Shown enough in her jumpouts and with Linda Meech aboard she looks way over odds and I’m going to have something each way.

WINNING REVOLUTION is another Moody runner in this. He got his maiden out of the way at Sale last start and can go on with it here.

EROS arguably should have beaten Winning Revolution at Sale first-up from spell. He will be better from the outing and can go one better.

STARRY LEGEND won with something in hand here three starts back then has followed up with a couple of placings. He can bounce back to winners stall.

ASHFORD STREET finished to well and was dominant winning at Caulfield last start. That made it two wins from last three starts and he can win again.

THE GAUCH resumes from spell. He has been placed in three of four first-up tries and he never runs a bad race. He goes in major chances.

VITTORIOSA is ready to win. She was beaten by barest margin at Lakeside last start when chased home strongly final stages. She has an awkward barrier but would not leave out of each way chances.

PARISIAN DANCER started odds on and just got the job done first-up from break. She will be better from that outing and has the class to get away with this.

MILTIDA had perfect run at Lakeside last start and managed to hold them all off for gutsy win. Comes into this ready third-up and can win again.

THALASSOPHILE has been a model of consistency this time in. Placed in her last three starts since winning by a big margin at Newcastle. She gets her chance in this field.

BOLD HOI HOI has done nothing wrong winning his only two starts, Dominant maiden winner on debut then good tough win last start. He deserves his chance in town.

HOPON HARRY let down strongly and won a nice race at Caulfield last start. Going to need a touch of luck from barrier draw but he looks an each way prospect.

UNUSUAL CULTURE is a Kiwi filly resuming from a break. She won her maiden by a big space at Otaki on debut then followed up with Group 3 placings. She can win this fresh.

ADELE AMOUR showed an exciting turn-of-hoof and got the prize at Flemington last start. Not sure back to 1300m is ideal but she will be powering home final stages.

GENTILITY started favourite at Caulfield last start after an impressive maiden win on debut but she just did not finish race off. Drawn perfectly and she can bounce back in this.

ACCOUNTABILITY was ridden upside down when did not finish the race off at Flemington last start and although tired was not disgraced. He gets a winnable race here and looks over the odds.

Patrick Payne stable is flying and GATE CRASH is a gelding that has won both starts this time in. Will not mind if the rain stays about as relished the heavy last outing. He goes close again.

MARCHONS ENSEMBLE relished the heavy to win at Warrnambool two back before racing wide last start and not finishing off. Drawn ideally and he cannot be left out.

VISINARI has returned in super form this prep. May have struck the front a little too early at Caulfield last start and was run down late. Needs luck from barrier but racing well enough to win.

SIR LAMORAK is the big query making his Australian debut for Team Williams. He was placed over 2406m at Royal Ascot when first-up last time in work.

BEA TEMPTED is a smart mare who does not win out of turn but she has won fresh and when these big odds invariably runs a cheeky race.

BEEHUNTER finished too well to win at Flemington two starts back then liked the way he got home when beaten less than 2 lengths last start. Most consistent and looks nice each way bet.

SIG POSITANO deserves a win this campaign. He has not been beaten all that far in any of his three starts this time in and he gets chance to finally win.

HE’S OUR BONNEVAL is an import making his debut in Australia. Only missed a place once in his 9 starts in the UK and if he brings that form over here he will be a factor.

Michelle Payne takes over the training of PONDUS and I find his odds very attractive. He started favourite in a G3 Easter Cup last start and although did fade was not disgraced. He has won his only start this track and I will be having something each way.

DON’T DOUBT DORY comes into this off two solid placings. He finds similar race and if he can hold recent form he will go close to winning this.

DEGRAVES resumes from spell. Finished last prep with a gutsy win at The Valley last start. Class gelding and would not leave out of exotics.
