Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Flemington | Sat 19th June

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Flemington meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 5

Rail Position: Out 12m entire circuit

I am going to stick with ACCOUNTABILITY at each way value again. He has let me down in recent starts but liked the way he kept grinding away last start and prepared to give him one more chance.

PESTO won with something in hand here two starts back then he chased bravely here last start but just found one a touch better. He gets chance to bounce back to winners stall.

DON’T DOUBT DORY has been threatening to win a race like this of late. May not have found his best on the heavy ground at Hillside last start. He can bounce back in this.

STARLIGHT SCOPE finished too well winning first-up at Mornington last time in work then was competitive in next couple. She may find best when fresh and happy to go each way.

GRAND POPE ran on powerfully from the back when placed here first-up. He will strip fitter and expect he will be in finish again.

YOUNG LIAM has plenty of early speed and looking for him to take up a forward position. Not sure the inside gate will be the place to be but he should be in this for a long way.

ANPHINA arguably should have won here last start but just could not run Brosnan down final stages. She gets her chance to make amends in this.

MAGNASPIN chased home a smart one down the Flemington straight on debut then he was disappointing at Caulfield last start. Drawn perfectly here and he will be right in this.

FAIRY SPIRIT has shown enough in her jumpouts to suggest he has ability. Drawn to get perfect run in transit and he can figure on debut.

QUINTELLO won her first couple this prep by a big space then she was nabbed right on the line in Sydney last start. Going to need luck from wide gate but she has the talent to win.

Forget SIRILEO MISS went around in Group 2 last start as she was always wide and entitled to tire over the mile. Back to right distance and from ideal barrier she can bounce back.

BARBIE’S FOX should have finished a touch closer first-up at Caulfield. She was held-up badly and only got going late. Bigger track at Flemington second-up will suit her.

STAR PATROL has been dominant in all three runs this campaign. He does step up in weight but hard to see them getting the better of him.

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE is an up and coming filly who has done everything right winning her first three starts. Takes on an in form sprinter here but she will hold her own.

I AM ME was impressive winning her first three starts this time in then she took on Listed company last start and was beaten less than 2 lengths. She will be steaming home late.

TAVIDANCE resumes from a spell. He can be a frustrating galloper but he usually finds best form when fresh and going to have something each way on her at the odds.

WINNING PARTNER did a few things wrong here first-up and he did not get all that much room final stages. Drawn perfectly and he will be much better from the outing.

BIOMETRIC made good late ground when placed in nice race here last start. If he can hold that form from inside barrier he will be right in the mix.

OCEANA BLUE looks ready to win this campaign. She has been placed in both runs back from spell and looked luckless at Caulfield last start. This a winnable race for her.

BIGOLINO just keeps winning. Made it two in a row on the heavy ground when he won at Hillside last outing. Barrier a concern but cannot leave him out.

THE CLAIMANT has not been beaten all that far in his last couple. Battled on well when beaten less than 2 lengths here last start. Must include in place chances.

TUVALU started favourite at Warrnambool fresh and he finished too well for clear win. Run down last stride here last start. He can bounce back to winning form in this.

SIBAAQ started odds on at Dubbo last start and he relished the heavy ground winning with something in hand. Never runs a bad race and can measure up to these.

VISINARI has won three of four starts this time in most recent gutsy heavy track win at Hillside. No reason he cannot continue on his winning ways in this.

PIONEER RIVER resumes from a spell. He loves the Flemington straight and if forward enough he can finish over the top of these.

MISS ALBANIA was beaten less than 2 lengths in Group 3 company two starts back then disappointed in that class last start. She gets back in right race and she can bounce back.

ZAC DE BOSS showed good speed and held them all off for gutsy win here last start. He looks up to winning this and must include in chances.
