Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Eagle Farm | Wed 29th June

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL previews Wednesday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 10m entire circuit.

MISTA OMEGA is ready to win maiden. Comes into this off a couple of sound placings and will not get a better chance than this to win. Clear top pick.

THE BURGER resumes from a break. He was placed at Ipswich when fresh last time in work and not beaten far in two subsequent runs. Must include in chances.

TERSANE comes into this off an impressive Deagon trial win and although he did not show much last prep would not dismiss fresh.

Tip: MISTA OMEGA

RUSSIAN QUEEN started enormous odds at Kensington last start but arguably should have won. She was held up for much of the straight and beaten less than 2 lengths. Like her in this.

MAJORELLE will not be a maiden for much longer. He has been placed in all three starts and from ideal barrier draw gets his chance to win.

COOL KAAP is a debutant from the Chris Waller camp. Comes off a Rosehill trial placing and if any stable support must follow.

Tip: RUSSIAN QUEEN

NORTHERN PRIDE was in the market at Doomben on debut and liked the way he got to the line when beaten less than 2 lengths. Better from the experience and he can win this.

BULIKOV laid out a touch in the straight but still battled on well to hold minor placing on debut. Better from the race experience and would not be surprised to see him win this.

LAMMER is a debutant who comes into this off a strong Deagon trial win. Drawn perfectly and would not leave out at first start.

Tip: NORTHERN PRIDE

MERSEYSIDE won with something in hand on the poly track two starts back then she started favourite at Doomben last start and was beaten less than 2 lengths. This a winnable race.

MOST DAZZLING was dominant at Toowoomba two starts back then run was better than finishing position suggests at Ipswich. He will be competitive.

LUCKY BEAN demolished a maiden field at Rockhampton two starts back then beaten less than a length at Sunshine Coast last outing. Would not leave her out of exotics.

Tip: MERSEYSIDE

Thought PRIMAL LOCKDOWN looked the bet of the day until he drew out in the car park. Still happy to put him on top but not as confident.

LANDSBOROUGH LAD is ready to win his maiden coming into this off three solid placings this prep. Has the advantage of a much better barrier and he can win.

OUT BACK BOOM finished the race off soundly when placed at Sunshine Coast last start and if she can improve off that run will be a factor.

Tip: PRIMAL LOCKDOWN

ZUMIKON is ready to return to winners stall. Placed in both runs this time in and from perfect barrier this looks a winnable race.

SINGLE MEMO relished poly track two starts back and she won accordingly then she found heavy track last start and was beaten just over a length. Must include in chances.

MAGNITUDO resumes from a break. He was placed when fresh last time in work and consistent throughout campaign. Drawn well and must consider.

Tip: ZUMIKON

GHOSTWRITER is overdue for a win this campaign. Placed in all three starts leading into this and he finds the right race to return to winners stall.

SUPER GORGEOUS finished too well to win at Doomben first-up then he lost all chance when checked at start last outing. He can bounce back in this.

ZA CEIBAS was placed at Canterbury two starts back. From the Chris Waller stable and if he can bring that form up north will be in the mix.

Tip: GHOSTWRITER

GO WANDJI looks the bet of the day but he is not going to be served up at generous odds. Class gelding who is unbeaten in three first-up tries and he should win again.

DUSTY TYCOON started favourite at Doomben last start but she just did too much work and faded final stages. Should get better run and looks the main danger to favourite.

ACROBATIC fought the race out solidly when beaten less than 2 lengths at Ipswich last start. That form good enough to sneak a minor placing in this.

Tip: GO WANDJI

SIR WILLIAM BRUCE comes into this ready third-up from spell. Arguably should have won last start at Sunshine Coast when held-up final stages. He can finish the program with a win.

BIG ANGEL finally broke through for a well-deserved win at Gold Coast last start. She is sure to make her own luck rolling forward and will take catching from the corner.

MR DUDWEY made it two in a row with a dominant win at Rockhampton last start. This harder but cannot knock winning form.

Tip: SIR WILLIAM BRUCE
