Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Eagle Farm | Wed 16th March

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL previews Wednesday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 10m entire circuit.

SCRIPT WRITER was making some good late ground on the poly track first-up. Expect he will be better from that outing and from inside gate he can go one better.

Chris Waller brings ISOLYFE up north. Placed in a couple of maidens at Newcastle before break and recent trial placing should have him forward for this.

BILLY’S BRO is another who looks ready to win his maiden. Placed in last two starts and from perfect barrier would not be surprised to see him win this.

Tip: SCRIPT WRITER

SAKURA STAR just proved a little too strong at Ipswich last start and that was a well-deserved win after consistent form. No reason she cannot win again.

AMUNGEE sat up on the speed and finished too well for good tough win at Grafton last start. May need to do some early work to roll forward but she will take catching.

LUCIFER’S LOOT gets back in a winnable race. Not been disgraced in a couple of harder races of late and from ideal barrier looks nice each-way value.

Tip: SAKURA STAR

HELLO HANDSOME comes into this ready third-up from spell. Had little luck at Ipswich last start but still held on and finished second. He gets chance to go one better.

LAW PARTY resumes from spell. He was a model of consistency last time in work with a string of placings. Forward enough of recent trial and can figure.

EMBOSSING relished the heavy ground when placed at Gold Coast last start. Drawn touch awkwardly but he is a must for exotics.

Tip: HELLO HANDSOME

EURO BELLE was not beaten all that far here last start and she finds a similar race. If she can find some cover in the run she may just be too good for these.

FIRST CROWN placed here fresh then he has followed that up with another couple of placings. Model of consistency and he can win this.

ZELIFY strips fitter second-up from spell. Just got too far back fresh and only battled. Drawn ideally and cannot leave her out of chances.

Tip: EURO BELLE

STREET DANCER resumes from spell. Only had the one run in Sydney last prep in better race than this. Comes off soft trial win and he looks well placed first-up.

SUMMER BREEZE relished the poly track and got her maiden out of the way last start. This a step up but drawn ideally and she can measure up to this.

YULONG STATUS was not beaten all that far on the poly track last start. Comes into this third-up from spell and would not leave out of chances.

Tip: STREET DANCER

GOLDEEL just keeps winning. Working through his classes with authority and had something in hand on the poly track last start. Hard to leave her out.

THIS IS SO finished too well and got the job done at Newcastle first-up then he was not beaten all that far last start. Third-up and looks a major player.

MOSSHIKI was beaten less than 2 lengths here two starts back then he just held ground at Toowoomba. Looks up to this and must respect.

Tip: GOLDEEL

ALF’S MAGIC resumed in winning form in better race than this last start. May find the front and again looks the one they have to beat.

PREACH could not have been more impressive winning on debut at Ipswich. Will be better from the race experience and if he can get soft lead looks the one to beat.

THE RATTLESNAKE is not far off a win. Placed in two of three runs this time in and would not leave him out of exotics.

Tip: ALF’S MAGIC

COMMAND KING found heavy ground at Ipswich first-up but he was still good enough to run into minor placing. Drawn perfectly and will be better from that outing.

LIABILITY won at Gold Coast two starts back then backed that up last start with an Ipswich placings. Racing well and must include.

BUSHIDO jumped to the front and gave nothing else a chance winning at Ipswich last start. If he can find the front in this he will take some catching.

Tip: COMMAND KING
