Horse Racing Tips & Previews – Eagle Farm | Sat 2nd April

Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 1m entire circuit

LUNASNIT was placed in a couple in town then she found a heavy track at Doomben last start and was poor. As long as ground not too wet she can figure.

OSTERMEIER strung together three wins in a row at Ipswich before making some late ground on heavy last start. Drawn perfectly and can return to winners stall.

SAYL won a couple in a row then just got too far back at Gold Coast. Drawn perfectly and he should get right run in this.

HANG FIVE powered over them to win maiden in a canter here last start when odds on favourite. This a touch harder but he can go on with it here.

NOBEL took on the VRC Sires Produce first-up from spell and was never in the race. Comes north and finds much easier assignment here.

BOOM COURT raced on the speed but was no match for Hang Five first-up. Sure to be better from the run and he is place chance again.

READ MY FUTURE finished too well and got the job done at Scone last start. Has advantage of apprentice claim and no reason he cannot win again.

YULONG STATUS started favourite at Ipswich last start and finished too well last 200m. Will get nice sit behind the speed and can finish over them late.

STREET DANCER chased home a smart one here first-up. Sure to be better from that outing and he is up to winning this.

I was on VAPORIZING here first-up from spell but he just looked in need of the run and could only hold minor place. Will be better from that outing.

LUCIFER’S LOOT led throughout and got the prize here last start. In a tougher race but he will take some catching from the corner.

RUBY JULY resumes from a break. She is unbeaten fresh having won all three first-up attempts. Must include in winning chance on that stat alone.

Might get each way odds LE PALMIER and that looks safe bet. Thought he was good at Gold Coast fresh and always improves second-up.

SIMPLY FLY resumes. Has super first-up record (3:2-1-0) and drawn to get all the favours. A must for winning chances.

ON THE LEAD was making good late ground at Canberra first-up from spell. Will strip fitter and another who improves off a run or two.

TREVELYAN fought the race out tenaciously when placed here last start. Got no weight on his back in this and will be having something each-way in this.

HUMBOLT CURRENT finally got back to winning form at Gold Coast last start when finished too well. No he has won again he may go on with it.

STARDOME won with something in hand at Toowoomba two starts back then went to Gold Coast and figured in placings. Drawn touch awkwardly but can figure again.

ZUMA CALIFORNIA chased home the smart Prince Of Boom at the Gold Coast last start. Drawn to get all the favours and only needs that form to win this.

RELEASE THE BEANS resumes from spell. He was placed at Listed level this track when first-up last time in work. Recent trial win impressive and cannot leave out.

ENTERPRISE POMME started favourite at Doomben first-up and she was too smart for them. Forget last start when she was always wide. Can bounce back in this.

KISUKANO is a smart mare who ran into placing at Gold Coast first-up. She has been placed in three of four second-up and gets her chance from inside gate.

BIGBOYROY resumes from spell. He has been placed in six of his seven first-up tries (7:0-5-1) and from perfect barrier will get his chance.

ROYAL HALE resumes from spell. Another with a solid first-up record (7:3-0-0) and if the rain persists his chances will be enhanced.

FESTIVAL PRINCE had no luck at the Gold Coast first-up when caught wide throughout. Drawn to get a much better run second-up and he can return to winners stall.

NEW ARRANGEMENT comes into this ready third-up from spell. Two Sydney runs have been solid enough and he gets easier race here.

VENTURA OCEAN resumes from break. He has won a couple first-up and although drawn a little wide would not leave out.
