Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Saturday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 5

Rail Position: True entire circuit

BARB RAIDER is such an honest filly. She was brave in defeat in Group 1 class in Adelaide last start. Will make her own luck going forward and she can go one better in this.

BELLE SAVOIR is and up and coming filly who just missed when favourite at Hillside last start. She needs some luck to find a position from wide gate but if she does she takes beating.

STALKING finally got her maiden out of the way at Kembla Grange two starts back then she got going late at Gold Coast last start. Drawn to get all the favours.

Tip: BARB RAIDER

FLASH AAH brings some solid Victorian form up North. Bendigo winner first-up then he has followed with a couple of sound city placings. Smart enough to get away with this.

SMART METEOR was making good late ground when placed in the Chairman’s Handicap last start. If he can sit a bit closer here he will be right in the finish.

SOPRANO SUPREME is a Kiwi mare who chased home strongly when placed in Gold Coast Cup. She will be better from that run and cannot leave her out of chances.

Tip: FLASH AAH

DJUKON just did not settle well enough in the Chairman’s last start and did not finish race off. Looking for him to bounce back in this and would include in chances.

ZAYYDANI was not disgraced in the Hollindale last start. She gets back in an easier race here and if she can hold that form will be right in the mix.

STAR OF MICHELIN only battled on the Soft ground in the Chairman’s. He had been racing in consistent form prior and if he gets firmer ground will be a factor.

Tip: DJUKON

Thought the run of CAPITAL TOWER was solid enough in the Champagne Classic when kept grinding away. Sure to be better from that outing and like his chances in this.

SWISS EXILE controlled the race from the front and he got the job done in the Champagne Classic last start. Not sure he will get same run in front but he is strong and takes catching.

TWIN STARS was strong winning the S.A. Sires Produce last start. That made it two wins from his three starts and would not leave out of winning hopes.

Tip: CAPITAL TOWER

ZAAKI just looks class above these at weight-for-age. Not at his best on the heavy ground at Gold Coast last start but he was still good enough to win.

HUETOR comes into this ready third-up from spell. Placed at Randwick first-up then chased home bravely behind Zaaki last start. Third-up and ready to find best form.

KUKERACHA relished the heavy to win the Tails Stakes two starts back then he got very close in the Hollindale Stakes last outing. He will be in the mix again.

Tip: ZAAKI

Going to stick with PRINCE OF BOOM to make it four in a row this prep. He was brave last start and from ideal barrier here he should take beating.

VILANA just had to work too hard in the Hawkesbury Guineas last start and he faded final stages. He had won three in a row previously and if he can find the front he will take catching.

MERITABLE was placed in a NZ Group 1 race two starts back then liked the way he hit the line at Gold Coast last start. He will be in the finish again.

Tip: PRINCE OF BOOM

TAKSU demolished a nice field on the heavy ground at Randwick last start. He looks a smart gelding and can win again.

BUFFALO RIVER was brave first-up at Hillside holding on for a game second placing. He will be better from that outing and takes catching from the corner.

SOXAGON raced up on the speed before being let down and sprinting away for soft win at Gold Coast fresh. If he can finds a position from wide gate her will be tough to toss.

Tip: TAKSU

Going to go with the Kiwi gelding PINARELLO to make a hit and run visit across the Tasman. Dominant turn-of-hoof to win at Group 2 level back home last start and he can measure up to these.

DARK DESTROYER was brave from up on the speed winning the Rough Habit last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and he can win again.

SOUTHERN STOCK looked like a true Kiwi stayer grinding away when just out of the placings in the Rough Habit last start. Would not leave him out of multiples.

Tip: PINARELLO

Hard not to be impressed with the run of ENTRIVIERE in the Doomben 10000. He settled well off them before making late ground to grab a minor placing. Barrier her biggest concern.

Only race fitness that cost APACHE CHASE first-up from a spell when he was claimed late in The Archer. He never runs a bad race and loves this track. Although harder must consider.

BROOOKLYN HUSTLE was an eye catcher from the back when not beaten far in Group 1 company in Adelaide. Think the pace on up front will sit her and she will be steaming home late.

Tip: ENTRIVIERE

APRIL RAIN was enormous in defeat in the Silk Stocking last start after being wide she still held second spot. Comes into this third-up from spell and looks ready to win.

Liked the way WRITTEN BEAUTY finished the race off from the back to win the Bright Shadow last start. Finds similar race and she can go on with it here.

Going to have something each way to finish the meeting on MISS HIPSTAR. She was placed in the Mick Dittman first-up then not disgraced last start. Nice odds in even race.

Tip: APRIL RAIN
