Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Bathurst and Goulburn meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!
I do think after examining this field that LOOSE LOVE will be right in this finish. He’s a 3YO with talent and this is his 18th start. He is very fit and is suited this trip. Made ground when 6th of 12 in the Wagga Guineas then was a close up 5th over 1510m at Albury last start. He’s in a field of 8 now and should be able to stay just off the speed from this great gate. Is yet to be a winner beyond a mile but is racing like this will suit. SPELLZ is also fit and is in form. Ran 3rd this grade last start. Quinella them up.
Tip: LOOSE LOVE
Interesting race. This looks a nice race for BRACEWELL If the 4YO has come back well. He resumes here and this is a drop in class from the 4 x provincial races he competed well in last prep before a spell. To sober things though, he has been a disappointing racehorse. He’s raced 10 times and only placed once. That was at Gosford proving he does have the talent. Last week he ran 3rd in a trial at Warwick Farm and they really ran home quick on the synthetic track so he probably is ready to run a big race. I think I’ll toss ISLAND LEGEND in for 2nd. He boasts similar stats.
Tip: BRACEWELL
It’s a fair bet that I will be on TULLA PARK here because he is trained at the track and runs well here. Today he is 2nd up and this comes after a great 4th when resuming in a much stronger BM 70. He was last for home over 1000m but came charging home to grab 4th. This is easier so if he backs up, he can win this.
