Horse racing Tips – Monday 27th June

Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews today’s Scone meetings, with horse racing tips and analysis for 3 races. Good luck, punters!

Track: Good 4

Going through the form here I see there are quite a number of fairly similar types. But I do think this lightly raced filly from Wyong, PICCADILLY LASS, might have a length of two on them. She hasn’t got much pace, well hasn’t shown any to date from her two starts, but what she does have is a pedigree that says she can stay and she has shown that she can maintain a long sustained run. Up to a mile for the first time here, and is now super fit. Looks the one. DIATONIC ran on gamely on debut and looks to have wheels also. Quinella them by the way.

I like SAHANA in this. She is from the potent Brett Cavanagh stable and she is quick. Is having her 3rd start here and has shown amazing learning powers from start one to two. On debut she was well back in the ruck near the Rea but came home and ran 4th this grade over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Then last start she was marked urgent off an in side draw when on speed and a solid 2nd at Port Mac. Half the field has been scratched and she has the rails draw here. I see her being 3rd on the fence at the bend and now fitter should finish over the top of them all.

When you like something while inspecting and mapping the form on a Sunday, then on the Monday it has firmed overnight with the corporate bookies, it puts a spring in your step. That’s happened here with ROCKBARTON RUBY. She has the perfect draw in 4 and is having her 4th start here after a great 2nd last start. Looks hard to roll for mine.
