Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Kensington meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Heavy 10

Rail Position: Out 2m entire

What a tough race to open the day. AUCKLAND is yet to race but trialled up nicely enough and the booking of Hughie may be significant. watch betting.

HOLD ON HONEY looked pretty handy winning recent trial. Last campaign race three times at this level without winning but was well tried in every start. Might be back a lot better this time.

MISSION VALUE looked pretty average in a recent trial but his only race start was outstanding when 3rd in a $700,000 race! Not raced for 2 years but watch market.

Tip: HOLD ON HONEY

Interesting race. NAVAL SEAL must be fancied as he was a really strong 2nd in a similar race when resuming last start. That should fit him perfectly for this and the draw means he sits in the one, one then pounces. Jay Mac rides also.

WATERFORD is from England having had just one start for a 3rd in a maiden there. Not raced for nearly a year but is with Chris Waller so watch betting moves.

NAUTICAL MISS might be very handy. She rattled home from a mile back on debut when 4th this level at Kembla. If she’d made her run earlier she may wave won the race. Extra 100m here will suit.

Tip: NAVAL SEAL

STALKING is the class and will be heavily supported. But when resuming in a maiden she got the best rails run courtesy of a magnificent Nash Rawiller ride and still got rolled at set weights. This trip will suit more but she has a few things against her like top weight and outside draw. Still, as mentioned, is the class.

SHOOTING FOR KATE was strong on debut when 2nd in the bush and will take great comfort and benefit from that. Big show.

RUINART is the form horse however. Has placed at this level at past four starts, and really, does deserve a win. Must be in your numbers.

Tip: STALKING

Interesting race.

VIGOROUS FLOW surprised with a strong finish to win this grade when resuming. Goes up 2kg but the win was strong enough to suggest a bold showing here too.

There will be a lot of pace here with STELLAR PERFORMER and GULF OF SAROS locking horns all the way giving MOMACK at look at this level. Will run home hard. Will be boxing on gamely here too.

Tip: VIGOROUS FLOW

These are tough races. REGAL STAGE is on home track and yes is resuming but has pace and power late when left alone. Good first-up horse too. Gets a 1.5kg claim which helps.

This is a handy rise in grade for the imported mare SAMOOT but she looks up to it given the way she destroyed her rivals at her Aussie debut. Looms large again.

Watch the betting for MISSION PHOENIX here first up. Was a two-time winner last prep in weaker grade.

Tip: SAMOOT

OLYMPIC THEATRE is a former English galloper who has taken a while to get used to our way of racing. But his 3rd last start in weaker grade was encouraging. Will like tis trip and could flash home late.

WHITE BOOTS has found form and is super fit now. Bound to be right in the fray at the end here as this is fav trip. So have in your numbers.

OCEAN SHORES is lightly raced but has finishing power and is 4th up here. Is also in form. Up in class but Jay Mac to ride and sure to be running on.

Tip: WHITE BOOTS

TO THE NINES is racing most consistently in weaker grade but that honesty can be rewarded in the mud. Place hope.

JERLE is a classy type on his day. He made useful headway when resuming nd 5th. Strips fitter here and his second tip stats are pretty sound.

FLEET AIR ARM won his first three starts easily then sent out on a very heavy track last start at Newcastle and just didn’t fire a shot. This is heavy too but out wide it should be in good enough nick. Can run better.Good race.

Tip:   JERLE

STORMBORN can handle it wet and two starts back rode the speed and dashed clear top win this grade. Since was 3rd as he went up in weight but looks suited here.

ARRANMORE is a pretty smart filly who looks well placed. Was 2nd to Espiona in her maiden, and last start when resuming, was at this grade and dashed late when 2nd again. Fitter now and likes it wet. This is heavy too but out wide it should be in good enough nick.

VIVID FLASH is a stablemate of Arranmore and is also in fine form. Is 3rd up here and looms large. Good race.

Tip:   ARRANMORE
