T: James Cummings /J: James McDonald (57kg)
Loves the mud. Is a Gr 1 winner. Is in form and is the best horse in the race. Looks the winner.
T: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace/ J: Jamie Kah (57kg)
Brilliant form of late. Won the traditional Gr 1 lead-up to this quite brilliantly then not disgraced when wide all the way and a battling 8th in the Gr 1 Doncaster. Will be right in this finish.
T: Brad Widdup/ J: Kerrin McEvoy (57kg)
Always a threat this level. Flashed home for a great 3rd in the Gr 1 Doncaster last start. Just needs to back up.
4. SHOUT THE BAR (10) x300x5781
T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott/ J: Nash Rawiller (57kg)
Roared back to her Gr 1 winning best when leading all the way last start to easily win the Gr 2 Sunline this trip at moon Valley. Will have rivals looking for the lead here but she is on her home track.
T: Chris Waller / J: Mark Zahra (57kg)
Quality mare who nearly wins this on a dry track but hates it wet. Can’t have her because of that.
T: Matt Smith / J: Damien Oliver (57kg)
Interesting galloper. Getting back to her best and has performed in the mud. Flashed home when just beaten into 5th spot last start behind Promise Of Success and meets her better at the weights. Can’t seem to beat Colette though and has had a few tries at it.
T: John O’Shea / J: Hugh Bowman (57kg)
Must be considered. Is a brilliant last start stakes winner beating a few of these and she is extremely honest. Just loves long straights and gets one here.
T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott/ J: Tim Clark (57kg)
Very handy and honest mare. Is 4th up into this on her home track. On speed when a battling 3rd to Promise Of Success last start and meets her 2kg better. If she gets across and finds a nice rhythm behind her stablemate Shout The Bar, she is a player.
T: Mick Price & Michael Kent/ J: Rachel King (57kg)
Good honest tough mare who fights hard all the way. Close up 4th when on pace all the way last start behind Promise Of Success. Drawn nicely and certain be in this for a long way. Will be thereabouts.
T: Mick Price and Michael Kent/ J: Damian Lane (57kg)
Good mare who gets back and runs on hard. Is 3rd up here but a good few of these have beaten her home in recent starts.
T: Team Snowden /J: Sam Clipperton (57kg)
Is a little in and out but more than capable on her day as she showed when a great 2nd in the Gr 1 Coolmore behind Lighthouse. Place show.
T: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace / J: Tommy Berry (57kg)
Is just a really good, honest try all day galloper who is 2nd up here. Raced home hard from a mile back last start over 1200m when 3rd in the mud. Better suited here and can sneak a place at big odds.
T: John Thompson / J: Brock Ryan (57kg)
Good mare. Led all way to easily win the Gr 3 Aspiration over this course and trip on a Heavy 9. This is obviously harder but is strong. Last start led and wilted over 1900m when 5th. Rough place hope.
T: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace / J: John Allen (57kg)
You just cannot overlook the fact this Victorian mare, with form lines totally different to everyone else’s, has won her only 6 starts to date. That takes courage. Yes, is rising a long way in class here but they say she loves it wet and is a natural winner. This may test but respect all that..
T: Chris Waller/ J: Brenton Avdulla (54.5kg)
Brilliantly ridden when dashing late and winning the Gr 1 Vinery Stud Stakes over 1850m beating the smart Hinged. Gets back, runs on and the weight scale here is in her favour.
T: Team Hawkes / J: Willy Pike (54.5kg)
Looks capable of running a fair race here. Is very classy and is another who gets back and just rounds them up. Tried that last start when 6th too Fangirl. Will be running on.
T: Jerome Hunter / J: Craig Williams (54.5kg)
Is a Gr 1 placed mare with great talent. Her three runs this time up have been outstanding with a Gr 3 win, a Gr 2 win and last start ran a game 2nd to Shout The Bar. Has claims.
T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / J: Regan Bayliss (54.5kg)
Has won at this trip here at Gr 1 level leading all the way last spring. Three starts this time up have been solid but there are a few who like to lead and she may find it tough late.
