T: Chris Waller /J: Jason Collett (59kg)
Now that he is back in form and fit, he is a threat at this level. Tough customer who loves this trip.
T: Joe Pride / J: Regan Bayliss (59kg)
Super smart on his day and has a wicked finishing burst. Is 2nd up now. Is a Gr 1 winner at a mile. No problem with the mud either. Big show.
T: Leon McDonald & Andrew Gluyas / J: Nash Rawiller (59kg)
Might just be ready at huge odds to run a blinder. First-up effort was average but this suits more and he is fitter now.
T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / J: Rachel King (59kg)
front-runner who takes catching if nothing takes him on. Unfortunately this mare Forbidden Love is also a speed horse so his chances will be dimmed.
T: Michael Moroney / J: Jay Ford (59kg)
Interesting galloper. Is from NZ and loves the mud. is a stakes winner there and his debut Aussie run was a great finishing 5th behind Inspirational Girl and Zaaki last start. Place show.
T: Annabel Neasham / J: Mark Zahra (59kg)
Is a Gr 1 winner in France but his two Aussie runs this time tip have only been average. Can’t win on recent form but can on French form. Watch betting.
T: James Cummings / J: James McDonald (57kg)
She is the best horse in this field and she is 3rd up. This is her pet trip and she loves the mud. Jay Mac rides. It is very hard to go past her.
T: Team Freedman / J: Hugh Bowman (57kg)
You know what they say – keep backing a mare in form and this one certainly is that. Is very fast in the wet and will probably lead these as she did last start when easily winning the 1300m Gr 1 Canterbury Stakes. Is very fit.
T: Chris Waller / J: Kerrin McEvoy (57kg)
Interesting galloper. Doesn’t like it wet but has loads and loads of talent at this journey. Is on home track too. Would take beating if the track out wide wasn’t all that wet.
T: Team Hawkes / J: Willy Pike (56kg)
Can a classy 3YO win this? Hmmm, this bloke is very honest and is in form. Bound to run a bold race.
