Greyhound Racing Tips – Tuesday 12th April

Racing writer, JUSTIN DEVINE, looks at tonight’s meetings and singles out his best greyhound racing tips for tonight’s Warragul, Gosford and Townsville meetings. Good luck Punters!

Warragul R6 – FFA 400m

20:25 (AEST)

THROW CAUTION (1) is one of the fastest and most reliable beginners in regional Victoria and will have no problems getting out to a big early lead. After a frustrating run of second placings he can hold on for a win tonight. DANIEL AVOCADO (7) has been racing well and will close strongly with luck in running from the tricky draw. He is the danger.

Tip: THROW CAUTION @ $2.50

Gosford R7 – Million Dollar Chase Regional Heat 515m

20:58 (AEST)

ZIPPING LOPEZ (3) had no luck from box 5 on Saturday night at Wenty in listed grade and looks capable of bouncing back in his heat of the Million Dollar Chase. With a fantastic career winning strike rate and boxes 1 and 2 vacant, he can cross to the rails and lead all the way. OUR MECHANIC (4) is drawn to follow ZIPPING LOPEZ throughout the race and can capitalise if he isn’t at his best. The pair have got lengths on their rivals.

 Tip: ZIPPING LOPEZ @ $1.90

Townsville R7 – Open 380m

21:15 (AEST)

PAULIE WALNUTS (1) finished last as a $1.35 favourite last week after encountering difficulties in the run and is a short priced favourite to bounce back tonight. He has won eight from ten at the track and trip and should get a gun run throughout. He is the clear top pick. BIG PIKACHU (2) is racing in career-best form with three wins and is capable of adding some value into exotics.
