Greyhound Racing Tips – Friday 22nd April

Racing writer, JUSTIN DEVINE, looks at tonight’s meetings and singles out his best greyhound racing tips for tonight’s Geelong Gold Cup meeting. Good luck Punters!

Geelong R6 – Cup Night Distance 680m

20:13 (AEST)

GYPSY WONG (2) was a Group 1 winner over the 720m at Wenty last start and is the clear top pick here. She has drawn to get a gun run up along the rails and will be hard to catch. JARICK BALE (8) is a stayer with plenty of ability BUT needs plenty of luck in his races due to his lack of early speed. He can win but needs plenty of luck.

Tip: GYPSY WONG @ $2.35

Geelong R8 – G2 Geelong Gold Cup 520m

21:27 (AEST)

The Group 2 Geelong Gold Cup looks like a terrific race. YOZO BALE (3) loves it at Geelong and looks likely to find the rails first with his main rivals sitting outside him. The easier run early will prove the difference and he is a great price. KYSAIAH (5) was brilliant winning last week in best of the night time and will be hard to hold out with luck in running. The box 5 draw is a concern though.

 Tip: YOZO BALE @ $3.70

Geelong R10 – FFA Mixed 460m

22:11 (AEST)

The super consistent KINSON BALE (2) returns to Victoria after a win and placing in Wagga recently. He has great box manners and will try his heart out in the lead. I’m with him. NIKOLI BALE (7) is the class runner in the race who has won four from four at the track and distance. He has struggled of late but is the knockout chance.

Tip: KINSON BALE @ $3.20
